About me
I am Rita Squarza, a highly trained, qualified and licensed Counselling Psychologist and Integrative Psychotherapist. I bring you 25+ years’ experience in the field of Clinical Psychology and Neuroscience, helping adults at every age and stage of life with a variety of life’s challenges, including personality and brain disorders.
Culturally Open and Sensitive
After completing my academic qualifications, undergoing extensive training, engaging in personal therapy, obtaining my license to practice, and accumulating many years of active scientific research and clinical work in both the public and private sectors in Italy, I left my home country. Moving to different countries with my family, allowed me to experience being an expatriate myself. I developed a strong curiosity on how being immersed in another culture can impact people’s lives. Over the last several years, I’ve passionately worked with expats from more than 20 countries, appreciating cultural diversity. I feel privileged to work with individuals of all ethnic backgrounds, sexual orientations, communities, and spiritual beliefs, as it allows me to enhance my multicultural perspective.

My style is engaging, interactive, and thought-provoking, leaving individuals inspired, motivated, and equipped with practical tools to master their minds and lives.

Motivated by the frustration of clients experiencing limited improvements with conventional treatments, I began to question why these promising solutions often fall short. This exploration led me to Integrative Medicine, where I developed a more effective and sustainable approach to supporting my clients. I now confidently employ an integrative multimodal strategy that combines psychotherapy with evidence-based, non-medication treatments, particularly benefiting those with diverse symptoms and sensitivities to medications.
